When we figured out how to make all these three words expressed by using this fabric, we went into the room and started working to make sure these ideas work.
Then we also decided that our project is going to be interacted with others. This extended our spaces and made our lives easier.
Finally, we made it. We made our project meets those three words by making this huge piece of fabric into three different levels and we are going to improve it in the following weeks.
Great pics guys, really helps to show your process and how you guys are forming your ideas. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is really interesting that your group is working with the entrance space. It will be the first portion of the instillation that viewers interact with. I'm excited to see how your group ventures further!
ReplyDeleteI love how you are creating depth with layering the material. It gives off a soft, yet iconic, statement for the entrance of the room, which is really cool. Can't wait to see how it progresses through these next few weeks!
ReplyDeleteyes--interesting images! I see fabric reacting in really graceful ways to hitting a surface. That last image is especially beautiful in that regard. Doors are important as entrances, so all groups should probably think about what it might or might NOT be...can you rethink what an entrance means for your project?
ReplyDeleteGreat images and insights. I like the idea that you are forward thinking and excited about the prospects the future holds. Continue to be bold and to interact with the other groups.
